Musa basjoo is a herbaceous perennial that can grow up to 2.5 metres tall. Its an ideal plant to add fast height to a tropical garden.

It can be grown in your garden year round (with protection for the first winter) or can be moved into your house in winter and treated as a house plant.

In time your Musa may well flower and produce small bunches of bananas (inedible)
