The most striking feature of the Blue Oil Fern is the iridescent blue colour to its mature fronds.

This plant prefers higher humidity however it must not be over watered as it will start to lose its fronds.

These plants are epiphyte (grow on other plants) so are great for mounting onto moss boards in a humid cabinet.

This plant has been grown here at Eastern Tropicals. Many of the fronds have been produced over the past 2 months.
