This Philodendron has it all! Velvety leaves with an iridescent sheen and red backs to the young leaves.
While it has not yet been formally described everyone calls it Philodendron “El Choco red”.
It prefers low light and a well draining soil. It is a climber and will do best with a moss pole.
Endemic to the Choco area of Columbia, this is one of the most beautiful Philodendrons you can have in your collection.
This is a young plant with great root growth visible through the clear pot.
