Philodendron elegans is very unusual. The mature leaves are large and highly pinnated sometimes looking like a skeleton of a leaf with just mid veins.
It is often confused with a few other species such as radiatum, tortum, and lancerum (Philodendron barryii).
Philo elegans has some of the more deeply cut and elegant looking foliage.
Leaves grow 1 to 2 feet long and 1 foot wide. It is a climber and will need a support as it matures.
Approx 35cm tall including pot.
A cutting has been taken from the plant however a new leaf has already formed in its place.
